How much does the 11X8 improve depth for the Vaquero in moderately bad ground? Was hunting the red clay of S. Tenn and was only getting about 6" with the stock coil. Hoping for 8 to 9 inches on a bullet size target. Has anyone tried the Depth Devil for Tesoros? My understanding is that this is basically a signal amplifier that makes it easier to hear the deeper signals.

About all I could get in the air test was 9.5" on a silver dime with the 11x8. So you will for sure get something less than that in any ground. You may get some idea what to take off for your ground buy looking at my 9x8 air test number.
Sorry I can't help with bullets, I am pretty much a coin hunter so I test with the silver dime. You may want to look at a after market coil a little larger than the 11x8.
