VDI normalization?

With the new frequencies used , does the Vision produce different VDI numbers, or is there VDI normalization software to produce a consistent
VDI number that is the same across the other White's machines (ie. DFX/MXT/M6/XLT)?

For non-ferrous targets, is the VDI reading the same regardless of which operating frequency is selected, or would, say a buried silver quarter
produce a different VDI for each of the three frequencies?

The VDI numbers are normalized and the feature of being able to turn normalization off is there in single frequency. Nickel will still read around 19 and quarters will read 83, The VDI numbers are very close to the ones that we use but like all different models the VDI may be little different on a certain target. but it is close enough that there shouldn't be any real concerns if a person is use to the DFX VDI numbers.
