[attachment 43594 Victoria Sovereign..jpg]This coin came out in last month using the SE.

That be 22Kt gold. About .2354 oz. worth of pure gold content.

I wouldn't mind finding one or two of those, myself.

Congrats!

Toby

91% pure gold!:please: How do you top that. It's even in top nick.
Congratulations JMB. you must have been dumb struck when you pulled it up. What more can one say.

Thanks Guys for the nice comments its all a matter of luck on the day.

This may surprise you but I will be giving this coin to the farmer as he has been such a good friend to so many of us in our detecting club.

His family have farmed the area for 500 years and he is into local history.

Have a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year.Jerry.

Greetings, JBM. What a terrific find!:super: It just doesn't get any better than that. That is a wonderful gesture by giving it to the farmer.:thumbup: After all, one of his ancestors probably was sick when they lost it. Actions like that are commendable, and gives good vibes to locals about Dectorist. Happy Hunting Grounds,

Savage, (EX-II}

MERRY CHRISTMAS
