Hey Bearkat,

My question is under what conditions would you use the larger coil over the standard one? And do you for see using it often?

I use mine for going over large gravel bars to look for big gold nuggets. I also use it to look for deep deep pocket gold. And I also use it for looking for deep caches of loot.
Basically to look for anything that you think will be a bit out of reach of the stock coil.

And in some instances where flat or open terrain is plentiful, use the big coil to cover more ground to get most of the big or deep stuff out of the way...
