Vidvir - Car Accident (NSFL)

Mike of Michigan reposted Lisa's video, on FB, concerning this unbelievable car accident. There's no way of knowing if texting was at fault or if the weather & road conditions played a part in this terrible mishap but, regardless of what the reason was, life can be cut short very quickly. Vidvir - Car Accident (NSFL) This is but one example of why it's so important to have a right relationship with God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

I was involved in a nasty accident many years ago and it happened just as quickly as did the one in the video.

I was a passenger in the back seat when we drove off the edge of a 300 feet cliff, but by some miracle we survived. The car did not!

This example, and my own, just shows how quickly death can overtake us.

As Ma Betty rightly suggest, we need to be ready in the Lord.

As we fell of that cliff all those years ago, I was scared, but I also knew that I was the Lord's.

No one can take that assurance from me as it was so real in the face of impending death.

By the Lord's good grace we all survived that day, but none of us have ever forgotten it!

Mike: For what it's worth, I'm still trying to figure out the lay of the land on FB. I thought that people 'reposted' an article or 'shared' it. I didn't know you could just respond to it and it showed up under your own name? Oh well...that shows you how much I need to learn about FB yet. At any rate, the video clearly shows those who wish to be saved how important it is to be ready to meet our Lord at a moments notice. The sad thing is: there are millions who aren't saved nor ready to meet Jesus and it's up to us to help them find their way. How can we reach the masses with our limited ability and or resources? There are a multitude of people who visit this website each day that aren't saved and that's why I continue to post God's Word; hoping what little I have planted will find it's way to their hearts.

I agree, watching another human being die right in front you is a sobering thing.

I have watched that video (on my FB post) several times. It's hard to watch... but hard NOT to watch. :-(
