Vintage religious ring-Jesux Pi Passio!

Darkflight

New member
Nice day not much but this old ring.

Not related to the film - a sect that dates back to the 16th century.

Sized before & obviously not gold-nor marked. But a nice devotional piece for my collection.

Woah, woah. Not so fast. Old, lower carat gold can definitely get a dark patina like that. I'd do a little more measuring, like get a weight, clean it up and see what's under the dark stuff and maybe even acid test it.

Yes, ditto.....I would carefully clean it up and see for sure if there are any faint marks and acid test it just to make sure!!
