Visited Neal In KY

A friend and I drove down to visit our hunting buddy Neal. He had a few sites set to hunt including one Civil War camp! This was my first CW detecting, It was a nice big open field with low grass. Easy hunting but there were few targets. I did find my first CW relics though. In the picture below are: a large piece of camp lead, a couple fired pistol balls, part of the end of a mini ball, a knapsack hook and a small sword hanger! I was thrilled. The rest of the items came from residences and a fair ground we hit. I also found a small hammer that the leprechaun's must have used. The large buckle is a mystery item. Do you think it is CW. We had a great time and a big Thank You to Neal.
