Vista Gold gets one I have been seeking for over 40 years :hot:

WTG Ray,

I'm very happy for you especially getting a Bust being your first, and glad the Gold went to someone like you who will use it extensively for serious relic hunting.

Funny thing my first bust several years ago was a 1/2 dime as well, same year as yours (1835) found her in a plowed field.

Keep hitting the same site, got to be a gold coin or two in there.

Congrats,
Paul (Ca)

I done a bit of scouting the site today and discovered where I believe the blacksmith shop was.Only had a half hour so looking forward to returning for an extended hunt.
PS Thanks for selling me such a great relic machine, Ray.

Found a lot of nice old coins with my trusty 3030 including my first seated half dollar but the little Bust Half Dime wins my favorite find for the year and I believe I owe it to the Golds superior separation abilities in iron .
