VX3 2.5kHz Frequency

I have an area where there are a few deep silvers that are very elusive.

Because the 2.5kHz Frequency is best for silvers & copper, would I be better off to run the VX3 in this frequency only, or is there a better adjustment using the three frequencies??

OR......maybe the DFX in the 3kHz frequency??

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Oops!! I,ve just discovered the Deep Silver programme.

Question.: I realise that the Detech 13" DD coil that I use on my DFX will probably not be much good with the 22.5kHz frequency on the VX3.

If it will operate ok on the 2.5kHz & 7.5kHz frequencies, then, in theory, it should be ok for the Deep Silver programme?

Will that work??

When you find out how it works the 13'' detech on vx3 please let me know Pierre. Thanks in advance

cypearl, I went over a patch that a mate & I have pulled silvers from, & have really covered the ground.

Didn't find any silvers, but managed seven modern coins that we somehow missed, & a couple of lead sinkers.

Not too bad from a "bare" area.............so, at this stage I would have to say that the Detec Coil works quite well, at least in 2.5kHz. :detecting:

It wouldn't be bad with the 2.5 freq but have you tried the 7,5 I think this would be the best with my way of hunting and interest. thanks again. Nikos.
