VX3 Shaft

Thound

New member
I finally had a good idea today that didn;t even come close to killing anybody. I got back from the beach and took the shaft apart to rinse. When I put it back together I thought about doing it backwards with the middle shaft piece curving downwards instead of upwards. WOW! It greatly improved the balance of the machine. So easy now to keep the coil level and machine somehow seems lighter. Yall try it cause you might like it as much as I do. HH.

Many taller people do it this way. I actually like a straight section better.

Nice lookiin rig there Rob. Can that middle straight section be bought somewhere?

Check with Mary at Whites. As I remember the IDX and M6 use this shaft.

If you are tall it could be too short. I made mine a little longer from two rods I had. Let me know how it works.

No I'm 5-7 so it should be fine. Thanks for the part# It's wrote down but I'm liking the downturned shaft right now. Thanks and HH.
