this W/E found coins from 1700's, 1800's, and 1900's!
Along with musket balls, mini's, buttons (one gold plated) - I found a Large Copper from 1700's, 1891 V nickel, 1898 IH, and pennies from 1900's.

Large Copper (still soaking):

Wheatie (worst I've seen in a long time)and Canadian cent (C.C. must have pitched it there *L*):

Copper does not come out of this site in very good condition. Even the V nickel is badly weathered. But the wheatie showed me that a coin under 100 years old (made of copper) takes a beating in this soil.
HH!
