found in side yard of burnt home in FREDONIA N.Y.

The largest silver coin I found was a walker .50 cent. I was in the field when I found it and immediately called my girl friend to tell her. But it was found with a different detector. Nonetheless . . . wow! a silver dollar is hard to find!

Went this mornin as a friend invited me over for coffee and had the detecter in back seat.
After showin him the machine and a cup or two he pointed across the street to an open area he said was an old house that burnt down years ago so we went over to get it a whirl and walla first coin was a V nickel 1910. ....He nearly filled his shoes..... then we kept goin. Wasn't gonna show him a pop can but decided to dig it and show him the depth I can read.
Then I almost filled my shoes. Cool mornin and decide to get another cup of coffee then started ta rain .
Will go back when weather is better and my nerves settel. Here's a picture of the niclel

Tryin to down load infranview as I post

In IrfanView go to "Image" at top of program.

You can bullet to make the images horizontal or vertical.
Go to Add Images button
Hit create image.
In the image it shows go to File.
Go to Save As
To the far right you will see a slider bar. Play with it. I save mine around 50% without loss of quality.

Simple.
Open the BMP file.
Go to "File"
Click "Save As"
see the "Save as type"?
Hit the little down arrow and go to JPG and hit SAVE

I played around with the "enhance color" part and "sharpen" under "Image".
This way it downloads faster and people are happier to see it so quickly.
