Wading with Deus II

The gray plug is good down to three meters. When wading in fresh water, do you use the gray plug or red plug?

Thanks

I just used mine in the fresh water lake for the first time. Used the gray plug with no issues at all. Gray is only good for down to 1 meter depth use only. Gray plug good to use down to 3 feet only not 3 meters.

I’ve lake hunted w the D2 twice so far, with absolutely no problems. I like it in even better than the Tarsacci because you can hunt in 40khz and A LOT more options. The only complaint I can say regarding the D2 for water hunting is there is a lot of flex in that lower rod which tends slow me down a little, but no big deal!

You're correct. I meant to say 3 feet.

You may need the wire antenna. I’ve seen a D2 user dunk his coil a little more than a foot without the antenna he had no signal.

I do not have the D2 yet, but every time I go out water hunting I always take it slow and easy. Just enjoy the day.
