Walking at the old homeplace

Hell when I moved to California in the middle fifties hamburger was five pounds for a buck. Bacon four pounds for a buck. You could pick up a six pack of beer for ninety nine cents and gas was twenty five cents a gallon. Cigarettes were two bits a pack. My how times have changed. I remember when bread was a nickel a loaf, a 16 ounce schooner of beer was a nickel and you got a free sandwich with it. When I was a kid our rent for a duplex was $7.50 per month. And we had real money back then.

Yeah, I'd bet that half dollar that Mary ripped Joseph a new one when he lost that coin. Judging from the my pictures she looks like she had a bit of mean streak in her.
That's right their names really were Joseph and Mary.

awhister, Nice old photos. I love restoring vintage pictures in photoshop. The fella in this one is my dad's uncle Gene. It's one of my favorite so I had to share. The price guide was pretty interesting also.
