Test the Spirits
1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

1Co 14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

This verse (along with what you posted) tells me I will hear a lot of things (voices) speaking - all have significance or meaning - not all are good...these have to be tested as pointed out in the Word.

Here is a link to a video that to me kinda emphasizes the 'voices' in my head....what others say - what demons say - that if I do not guard myself against I could be enslaved as well. Let me know if this video emphasizes this for you as well. (Welcome back Martin).

Hello Pete,

Interesting video. You know ... so many young people today have bought into the message of the world through 'todays music' and other enticements. It's unfortunate that the Christians throughout America have stood silently by and allowed the political left to remove God from the schools, the public's view, and now from our government. We, as Christians, must do all we can to bring our young people into the church. Unfortunately many are joining churches for the music they play rather than the message they preach. These young Americans need to hear God's Word proclaimed and come to know Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior of their lives. I'm doing all I can within the detecting world to share the 'Message' God has given me. It's up to the Holy Spirit to speak to their hearts and minds and bring them into the fold. We can plant a seed but we cannot make it grow. That's up to God Himself. Clearly God's Word tells us that we are not of this world and must keep ourselves apart from the world if we are to remain strong until Jesus' 2nd coming. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your faith. Jesus loves you!

God says in His Word my Sheep hear and know My voice and will not follow another! So, as a Christian and one of God's Sheep, I must be following Christ, The Good Shepherd, and listening to Him, Who directs my path and leads me by the still waters to lie down in green pastures for peace that passes all understanding!
