Walking money

I almost forgot to post this. Took the morning walk with my wife yesterday. While passing a picnic table i spotted green.... sure nuf a $20 all lonely under the table. The first thing the wife said is... how did you see that? The next is .... explain to me why you need a detector again, seems more profitable to go for our walks. Gotta love um. Id post a picture... but i think everyone knows what a $20 looks like.

I think we are used to looking at the ground when we detect so we see more when walking down the street then most people do, it is just a habit I guess. It is surprising what we see when we are out walking and those small gold color pieces of foil sure do look nice, just like some small jewelry.

I have no doubt you are correct Rick. I used to run a good bit ... partner that with detecting now and i cant tell you how often ive made some really good finds that people have dropped. Hey Darrell.... ive almost got enough to buy a NEW coil man Ill give ya the twenty for your years finds so far... what ya say deal?

...i've eyeballed more gold on the sidewalk than i've found with my detector. on the other hand, i've never found a silver coin without my detector!

This one is similar...While Metal Detecting in the water at Cape Cod with my wife swimming by my side what should float by her? Yes...a 20 spot. She also had remarks like "who needs a metal detector?" Anyway...nice find, doesn't matter how it came to you.
