General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Looking for the chip to convert the Whites EAGLE PROgrammable (Eagle I ) to the EAGLE II, or, EAGLE SL

you might give Whites a call and beg nicely for them to dig in the archives, they still may have one laying around. if not GOOD LUCK it does make the eagle 1 more stable.

I called SWEET HOME, after I got my Spectrum back. What I did was buy a Eagle PROgrammable *Eagle 1) off of e-something, for more money than I should have. This was before I bought my Minelabs, the Ace, the Tesoro, and got my Spectrum sent in. I thought that it would be a great back up for the Spectrum. The seller said that she had modified it, gave it a arm rest, etc. When I got it, it was pretty nastied up. box was upside down, crappy job of taping the control panel to a Bounty Hunter rod, and the face plate of the control panel was dangling. I began to regret my $162 investment in it. It did come with an 11 inch coil, in addition to the standard, but it will probably cost me $120 if I send it in to Whites. I asked, they do not have a chip for conversion, or, at least that is what the woman who answered the phone said. The detector does work, but their rod mod with the arm cuff makes it too short for my forearm to fit from the cuff to the control panel, so, I either send it in, spend $120 to get it back to something like it used to look, depending on their fast dwindling parts, or, kiss the $162 goodbye as a complete loss.

I would like to find a chip, send it to Sweet Home, and let them restore it as close as it can be to the original look. They ain't a gonna be happy, because it was pretty much chopped up in the conversion to the BH shaft.

I guess I could try other Whites repair centers to see if they have a chip.?.?.?

Know it is old, so is the Spectrum, but they are still good life in them, especially, if I can find a chip to upgrade it to an Eagle II.
