General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Wanted gold prospecting metal detector

Hi All,
I'm looking for a gold prospecting metal detector. Used but not abused... I'm looking for: Fisher Gold Bug 2 (or original Gold Bug), Whites GMT (or older Goldmaster), Tesoro Lobo SuperTrac or something like these??? Please respond with make, model, condition, price and any extras included. I'm in northern Nevada so if shipping is required please indicate "included" or $$$$.

I have a whites GMT. The detector is in excellent condition. I just sent it in to whites for a total check out and calibration before i put it up for sale. The people at whites
got my detector mixed up and for some reason replaced the upper shaft , the top of the control box and the touch pad. So basically the detector is brand new. They also sent me an extra battery holder. I also have the small nugget shooter coil. Both coils have always had coil covers on them
I am asking 600.00 Canadian shipped and insured.
Where in Northern Nevada are you. I have been looking at the Winnimucca area as a place i would some day like to do some detecting.

Hi,I have used and found nuggetts with a tesoro vaquero and tejon,put a small concentric coil or super lobo coil on it and works great,buddy of mine has a vaquero that uses it in quartzite az and he found a prettynuggett too! just a thought,there is one on treasure depot for sale! Dont know the guy but I put my oppinion on there for him,because it is a fine detector,even the alaska gold prospectors reccomend it!! Max

I would pay $300 max for a used lobo super traq, you can buy a new one for a little more and you know it works,,I bought an old lobo on ebay 4 months ago and found out some one monked around in the box, It did'nt work right, to me, so I sent it to tesoro because of the life time warranty and they said some one touched it,, and that voided the warranty, so i got screwed , I have spare parts now,lol paid $150 for the thing looked nice in the pics,, thats my story, . Mark
