OK, there has to be one floating around out there - in a garage, a basement, attic . . . . . .
This was the first detector I used and unfortunately I traded it to a friend back in Jr. High for a fishing pole of all things and is the one detector I've owned over the years that I do not still have. I've been looking for one for years and have feelers out but so far no luck.
It was a basic $20 one-knob BFO with a 6" coil and a sky blue plastic case. Only made one model so if you find an odd looking basic detector with a Viking name tag (not the same as the Viking from England that is still in operation), let me know . . . . . . . I'll make it worth your while if you can help me find one.
If you have a copy of my book The Treasure Hunter's Handbook, there's a picture of me and the detector on page 23 . . . . .
Thanks in advance
