Wanting to try a Quattro anything to watch for used ?

Been thinking on trying to find a Quattro seen a few of them selling at reasonable prices, Have not swung a Minelab in a while since the XS. Is there any thing to watch out for defects or what have ya when looking at a used Quattro /

Been swinging a DFX and kinda miss the Minelab FBS.

Thanks for any info.

Being an older model, the upper housing often cracks where the mid-coil slides into it. Also the cam locks on the mid coil often crack and break. I just helped a buddy find one. We tracked prices from Nov to current. Cheapest was $240 with (2) coils, and most expensive was $420 on eBay. Take your time and a good one will pop-up.

Also, as another member mentioned, the Safari is the newer model. The processor is significantly faster. With the stock 8 or 10" coils, you will enjoy using it...but if you plan on added a big coil, then the slower processor often gets overloaded when there are multiple targets underneath the coils footprint.
