war nickles

I have found a couple of war nickels this week. Both had a little corrosion on them, and they both registered 33. Is 33 the norm or do some of you come up with different readings. Was kind of surprised when I dug them

I never found one but being there 35% silver it may explain the high vdi. Im just guessing

The ones I have found have been like any other nickel signal, 14.

all the war nickels I found have also been in the nickel range around 14, I did find one that surprised me & read higher it read 38, it even read 38 out of the hole. I think it's because it has a higher silver content than it should.

I run in high and low depending on how much trash is in the area. I don't know if maybe the soil is different here. I am in Eastern WA. Desert like area with sandy ground. Next time I come up with one I will have to see if I am on low or high and how much corrosion is on them.
