I live in Bonney Lake and there is a detectorist I know who who lives near by who goes over to the Spokane area onto a private farm that belongs to his pal, and digs old military artifacts including gold coins. He is somewhat secretive as to the location. I guess that would be normal.
There are many mining areas in NE Washington. Come May, you need to head out and make some super finds.
