Hey has anybody tried to buy anything from a place called "Detector Hero" ? They had a Deus Full with WS4 head phones and a nine inch coil listed in there online store for 499.00 so I thought it was a good deal and bought one but what I got was a Deus wiithout the RC with a set of WS5 headphones in a banged up box, So I have emailed them 3 times, tried calling their number many times with just a busy signal and even tried the chat on their web site, NO REPONSE WHAT SO EVER. So I just wanted to let everyone know to beware of these guys. The place is in Texas
 
Research all sellers of Anything you buy online.
Reviews and BBB.
Especially something selling for LESS than half price.
Like buying a Garrett pinpointer for $35 buks on Amazon.
Not the real thing.
I've been skunked a few times in the past.
Even had a company hit me with 13 $249 charges in one day.
Thankfully I have a good bank who pulled all my monies back and shut them down.
Got Raided. Should of seen my Smiling.

Your lucky you got a box with anything in it.

Is it a Real functioning unit ??

Richard here may have cost a bit more.
Though you'd have got Eggszakly what you paid for.

Do report them to the BBB.
Better Business Bureau ...
Check them there too .

Personally I only buy from this forum and Richard is my #1 go to guy !!! I dont trust anything on the Big E !!!! especially used stuff !!!

You guys here are the best !!!

I actually have heard of them. I bought a getting hard to find Anfibio lower shaft from them. The actual business on PayPal was called Distribution Warehouse. I opened a case against them after waiting a week for a update on the tracking number. I thought it seemed fishy that they didn't have a physical location matching the address. To my surprise, a few days later I received the lower shaft from Detector Warehouse, which is a actual business. So, I don't know...I dropped the PayPal case however.
 
Just to clarify, I am not sure what distribution warehouse and detector warehouse have in common other than both being in Texas or why the name detector hero was used.
 
Sounds like it does business as a "drop shipper", i.e. has nothing in stock and ships items directly from other vendors/manufacturers, so basically a "middleman".
