Warrior

2 Much Trash

Well-known member
I'm convinced now that the Warrior is a deep detecting machine. But does anyone have any input on its recovery speed/ separation ability.

I have seen so few videos on the warrior , i decided not to buy one , I wonder why , I have only seen one vid on a horde test . someone has to make some videos,

They are still pretty new, recently released. And a few were just imported by Backwoods. A number of guys have made videos https://www.google.ca/search?q=deeptech+warrior&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=ubuntu&channel=fs&gfe_rd=cr&ei=fNqNVp2kCIuN8QfZ-rbgCw&gws_rd=ssl#q=deeptech+warrior&newwindow=1&channel=fs&tbm=vid

So many new machines came out recently by many manufacturers, its a tough call for many what to buy. And we know most these days favor a screen machine. Believe the Vista Sprite and Smart are the popular models in the UK at the moment. They seem to like the lower frequency machines. The Warrior might just end up being more popular in the US. Now that there is a service center and a dealer in the US, the push will be on to get the DT unit out there. More than likely come spring time, there will be new owners being able to get out and use them.

If you own a Gold, probably not much incentive to get a Warrior. The Smart might be a good complimentary detector to buy.

Have a Warrior coming in Monday or Tuesday. I will take it to the nastiest iron sites I can think of and a couple of deep relic sites in the next few weeks. Will give full report.

Just what everyone is looking for!

let us know how it behaves ,

The Warrior is a deep detector and seperates exceptionally well. I sold all that I bought on the first shipment but I am going to probably get one for myself later in the month. All the DeepTech machines do an excellent job of unmasking targets that other detectors have missed and from the Gold to the MINI, great depth. With the small coil on the Warrior, it should even be more awesome in iron. Richard

LOL. It is what is next week. Hopefully passes with flying colors. I will be taking the Vista Sprite also. Curious to see how they compare.

Ah, yes :)

If you missed to see on our Facebook page why Dan will receive Vista SPRITE, here is it:

I am glad that DeepTech's Santa Claus made one of you guys happy :)

Started not to enter the Detector contest because of past bad luck. Glad I did now. I have never won anything in my life before not even a free coke at McDonalds. Cant wait to try out the Vista Sprite when it comes in.

Congrats Dan on the winning entry! The Calrad or treasure wise headphones work great on all of the Deeptechs so far, so I would think they would do great....Stuart

It will probably come down to personal preference but there are a couple of factors to take into consideration. Usually single freq. detectors have an output impedance of about 8 ohms. Multi-tone detectors usually are 30-150 ohms to responds to the different frequencies of the detector. Using lower impedance headphones on a high impedance detector will use the battery up quicker and sometimes can actually do damage to the audio circuit over time...

Take into consideration, fit, volume control or dual volume controls, etc... Thanks Richard
