Warrior?

Are these detectors of the analog type or a digital type?
You guys that use them, are they considered about the deepest of the deeptechs? Thanks

Yes.... DeepTechs are analog machines and the warrior is considered one of the deepest for sure, but none of the deepTechs lack depth and all perform very well.

I went ahead and bought one from Richard at backwoods. Only tested it a couple of times, but so far and early testing tells me its one of the deepest metal detectors i have ever had. If ground balanced perfectly, it ignores ground minerals. Remember this is just initial testing. Just unbelievable depth, and thats the main thing I am after. With no falsing. Very hard to find one like that.
Thanks Richard

What part of the country do you live? As you get more time on it, let us know how it goes with the warrior. That one's definitely in my sights when I decide to buy another detector.

Just bought the Warrior myself...Been out a couple of times with it..what an awesome machine...I can fully recommend it.. Easy to use, stable and deep..My previous machine was a Nexus MP MK 2 , I much prefer the Warrior. Still enjoying learning its response characteristics..It's superb amongst iron , very good response times and depth performance is brilliant..What more can I say !

Incredible detector.I love mine depth deepest detector I've used. And the super six just as impressive as the pit bull coil. When I used to hunt places and think I wonder if there were targets that were to deep for my detector to get a signal. Not any more I feel now if my coil goes over deep targets my warrior will signal.I have dug just this week on a faint high tone old silver plated spoon at 16"measured and the spoon was up and down not laying flat I almost gave up digging but my pinpointer finally sounded off. Deeptech great detectors.

I live in Oklahoma. I have used several top of the line detectors from just about every make. First time out to my test garden it blew my mind. Whats left of it. I am not going to put on here how deep it will go because most wouldn't believe it. What impressed me more was i took it to places i know has high mineralization in the ground. All my other detectors would give a signal like a deep target, but its only mineralization. I took the warrior over it and it did the same thing, gave a signal like a really deep target. I was disgusted a little. Then i checked ground balance and it was a little off. I set it perfectly then ran it over it again, nothing, not even a peep. I promise you i cannot tell you what a dam relief that is. I don't know how the build quality is or anything like that. I hope its good. No manual yet, but if you have any experience at all its nothing to it. So far i am a believer.

For those that have the warrior: What's the difference between "boost" mode and "normal" mode? Why wouldn't you just run in boost mode all the time?

In my opinion if you are just looking for coins or jewelry only. You probably never need a boost mode. Notice i said probably. For me looking for DEEP targets there is no other way. If you don't need a boost mode, maybe there is a cheaper model that will fit your bill. But for me i want it there. I am not a coin hunter, but have found some where there should not be any. I am not a relic hunter, but have found some along the way. I love being in the woods. Does me good to get out even if i dont find anything. But I'll admit its better when you find something.

the more you use the Deeptechs, you will learn their language. Each one is a little different but you will learn the audio and it just keeps getting better. Something to mention though is if your signals are lacking a little definition, turn your sensitivity back some and they will clear up. Best to All, Richard
