My son David and my granddaughter Tina came and stayed awhile and brought me a gold or gold colored chain to go with the cross they gave me at Christmas. The chain that came with it was so light and thin, it would break very easily! I'm not sure the one they gave me is really gold, as I can't see well enough to check it for any marking, but it is pretty and yet a different color of gold than the 10-K gold cross! But doesn't matter, as they came and visited and showed they care for and love me and that is what counts! I really enjoyed our visit, but tried and tried to get him to register and vote, but was talking to deaf ears, as he kept saying, he didn't care and wouldn't do any good, as both political parties are the same! Tried to help him understand that if we didn't vote and have Common Sense when we do vote, then it is our fault for the gov't we get and can't complain! Says, he doesn't, but his dad does (my ex) for he voted for BO and now he is constantly complaining! Well Good I said, that'll teach him to vote for his pocket book instead of for moral and wise gov't leaders!  May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Thanks Mike, me son, Marty, and Liz! My kids and their families are so busy that I very seldom see them and don't really hear from them very often, but when I do it really lets me know I am still Mom, Grandma and remembered....even though the times we live in now are so hectic and busy for everyone just to keep food on the tables and the bills paid! Taxes are and keep going up so makes it even worse, for a peaceful and joyous living, which we can only have in our Lord Jesus Christ by knowing, obeying and living for Him during whatever is happening in this old sinful world! May God keep blessing you and yours and, remember, the family who prays together, stays together....teach them while they are still at home under your roof and when they are old, they will not depart from it..... The teachings of God's Commandments and of Who He is and who we are in Christ Jesus as our Savior and Lord! Amen! I wish I had known Him better when the kids were young and lived better, but I only did what I knew at that time, and if I had known better, I would have done better, but as long as each child and loved one is alive, it is still never too late to show them by the way we live for Jesus and by our loving actions! Give them a kiss and say you love them whenever you can, as no one knows what tomorrow may bring, when we won't have another chance! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
