Watch out for Ticks, they are already out here in Kentucky

RICK IN KY

Active member
Went out Metal Detecting Saturday and got two ticks on me,one of them had already stuck on
my back,My wife had to take the tweezers to pull it out, they work on you quick. There is a red
spot there but I believe it will be alright.I had just walked over the hill in the woods a short
distant and I believe that's where I got them.So everbody be careful out there.I didn`t find much
but that Tick sure found me.

A few years ago near Paducah 3 of us started through a field of tall grass to get to an old home site. After about 20 ft in we noticed we all had a bunch of tics crawling on us. Looking around looked like there were hundreds of them on the grass blades. Never seen anything like that before or since.
