Water Hunting...which Coil?

I would like to know which coil people are using for water hunting. I have both coils but am not sure which to use or both :) The smaller coil clearly has a smaller footprint and would be easier to sweep in the water but the larger coil covers more ground. Thanks!!!
 
I think you answered your own question.
I myself would run them both.
If there were currents than the smaller one would be best. (less drag)
Somewhere calm like a lake maybe the larger one.
