waterproof beep an dig detectors

thanks for the info. the Excaliber isn't for me. I only hunt fresh water swimming holes. some company like fisher, garrett, should make a simple waterproof B an D detector like the tiger shark, which I used for 17 years. I know you can still get used detectors like the TS but parts or hard to find any more. any way just a thought. Ill be using my legend this summer, but I would like to have another B anD.

It appears like Fisher still offers the 1280… not sure if you would be interested in that.
I bought a Sand Shark about 12 years ago to use mostly in freshwater lakes nearby and have used it at the beach occasionally.
So far it is holding up and I have made some nice finds with it, but I have not used it at the beach the last few years since getting an Equinox.
Some folks thought it was a bad idea to use it in freshwater lakes, but the ones around here do not have a lot of trash and I have found some nice knives, and other neat things that I may not have fooled with do to iron or iffy signals..
