Waterproof detector

Well-known member
Suppose to rain all day . Right now I wish I had a waterproof detector. I need to dig some relics bad. Mud does not bother me but the rain ruining my xterra does.

Hey Seven, Do you use a rain cover for your X-terra? It works well for light rain situations. You can also place a clear plastic bubble, such as a large zip-lock bag, around the housing and hunt in the rain all day, if you want to. It makes getting at the controls a bit more difficult but it will keep the rain out.

You'll just have to stay home and let me get caught up on my schoolwork....you've played all weekend. Rain is a good thing!

I have used the bag but I do not like it very much.

There are plenty ways to keep them from getting wet!

Just be careful of condensation conditions. If the temp and humidity are right there can be as much moisture inside as out! That's why one of my two machines is waterproof I guess....
