Waterproof Goldquest SS V.2, (Aquasearch V.2), photos

Just some pre-release photo's of the Goldquest SS V.2, in it's waterproof form, the Aquasearch.
Anyone with a good basic knowledge of electronics should be able to take a Goldquest circuit board, and install it into a waterproof housing. Do neat work, and purchase quality components.
I tried to get the photo's to show how the circuit board was mounted, how the controls are mounted. If you notice it's sheilded above, and below the board.
The single un-marked control is a volume control, no label yet.
Coil is hardwired in, and the headphone is on a pig tail with a waterproof connector, hardwired in. Last photo shows On/Off waterproof switch,(it's double sealed), and the waterproof headphone connector attatched to the pigtail. Coil cable has additional armor protection.
The case is pressure regulated in so much that it will let the pressure inside the case to excape, but seals it's self, and will not allow it to be drawn back in.
The clear case allows one to view inside for any water present.
I should have them in stock real soon. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

No. but the control box, and controls are rated for 2 metres, intermittent usage.
It was not designed with diving in mind, it's far to sensitive to dive with, Wading, yes.
It is not pole mounted. It is belt mounted, so the 2 meter depth for most would not be a problem. One would not excede the depth rating of the electronics while wading.
