Waterproof?

I'm not sure if I'm reading it correctly but how can this operate under water if the headphone plug, or wireless receiver is not waterproof

Manual has 1/4" headphone module & Wireless module "not waterproof" How can this be used in the surf?

Waterproof headphones. You could also use the wireless module but put it high up on your person.

That just might be a great way to go! Using a small waterproof box and a cable clam you could also make the entire setup waterproof for much less than buying the new Minelab phones.
