$1.10 and had a chance to find a class ring someone last at the former Air Base but decided not to go back to the base (ever again) which as it turned out - with the car breaking down - that was a better choice. I am sure had I detected the area I could have found the ring...maybe as the ring was lost in winter time while a Security Policeman was cleaning his car window. As a fellow SP I so wanted to detect and find it for him. With the amount of snow that the base gets each year many times the plowed snow piles up and a front end loader is sent in with a dump truck or two to haul the snow away. So hard to say if it is around the particular parking lot or dumped some place else.
Glad you had a God time up north! Congrats to you and Sherry on your 9th.

Yes, Pete, there are a lot of God things that we don't even realize sometimes because of the problems that come along, but God is always a step or two ahead of us and knows exactly what we will need and when! I am so happy that your 9th Anniversary trip turned out with you and Sherry spending more time together! And the casino, although I don't go to them, was directed by God to help you to have the money when you needed it....and He knew how much and when! Our God is good and He is Awesome in His wonderful workings in our lives and He does work in mysterious ways for us and others who need encouraged at a time we and they need it the most! May God bless and, again, Happy 9th Anniversary and may you and Sherry have many, many more blessed of God in Jesus' name I pray! Amen! Enjoyed reading your blog of the interesting story concerning your trip!
