After my last posting the power went out for 36 hours and we had nothing! No electricity, no land phone service, no cell phone service, no cable service. We have a generator that kept our refrig. going but it would not run our well pump. So we had no water!! had to bring in pails of water from the pool in order to flush the toilets! Of course no showers and I had to go to work! So off to work I went stinking like a goat in hopes of using the shower at work. All well and wonderful until I turned the shower on..........NO HOT WATER!!........ICE COLD SHOWER AT 6am will really wake a person up!! That really put me in a foul mood for the rest of my 14 hour shift.........wait until I see the boss tomorrow!
