My neighbor and I went to one of our local elementary schools to hunt the playgrounds this morning (being that all the kids are on Spring Break) and we found some keepers! 1. A 1936 Wheatie penny. 2. Two Canadian pennies - one of which is a Centennial 1867-1967 and the other had multiple flat sides dated 1985. 3. A girls ring. 4. A hand full of pocket change made up of quarters, dimes, and nickles. 5. Several large pieces of melted copper. The temperatures were in the 50's, with clear skies. All in all it was a good morning.
