We have a new member in our family ....

New member
On January 24th I had to put down our 7 year old Schnauzer, Jackie, who reached the end of her life suffering from lymphoma. She was such a joy to Nancy and I and to her younger brother 6 year old Jake ... same parents different litters. Jackie had a heart full of love bigger than Alaska!

Jake hasn't taken Jackie not being with us very well and has been "frumping" around the house looking for her.

About a week ago we found Jake a new friend, Tucker, a 5 month old schnauzer who was with a family near Orlando. Due to various health / financial reasons they couldn't keep the pup and we were fortunate enough to get him. He is house trained, crate trained and so full of energy and love. He has now just about learned his new name .... used to be Mr Muggles .... now Tucker.

Here are the "guys". Tucker is facinated with a rubber duck chlorene dispenser that floats around our pool. Tuck thinks its always trying to sneak up on him. Thats what Tucker is looking at in this photo.

All the neighborhood dogs love Tucker and he loves playing with them ... some of them are at least 6 times larger ... but Tuck does not care.
