We need a Prospecting Equipment "for sale" Forum

Steve - would it be possible to add a forum for sale/trade of prospecting equipment. Like high bankers, dredges, sluice boxes, etc;?
 
I'm just a moderator; I do not have control over stuff like that. I honestly question if there is enough traffic from dredgers/other types of non-detecting types to warrant such a forum. So let's see who chimes in here to see what other people think. It all boils down to there being enough demand to make it worth the forums owners time, especially as Classifieds are a bit of a pain to administer.

Hi Au79, i have seen a few gold prospecting items on this forum for sell.I use to buy and sell alot on other forums but mostley detectors now. I still like to dredge and highbank but just stay with the equipment i have now, a 2' backpacker, and a 3" highbanker combo. Flintstone
 
Perhaps the forum sponsors might be interested in supporting something like this, especially those that carry prospecting equipment in addition to detectors. Who knows you might get new sponsors.
 
New Sponsors! I think that might give some inspiration! There's a General Merchandise forum here but everything from soup to nuts there and not any mining equipment. Maybe Guvner will spot this thread and let us know. It would be nice to have our own "Prospecting Equipment for sale/trade forum on Find's Treasure Forum.
 
Looks like Steve is right again! More of a beeping site here. Oh well, it was worth a try.
 
Well not about being right, I would like to have another place to sell my used mining stuff myself. We will just let this perk and see what happens.

In the meantime, if a person 'wants to buy' an item, do I just post to the forum?

Which is why these things are for MINER to MINER sales as you can see manufacturers need to buy BANNER ADS or place them in the ICMJ and NOT for free in place of miner to miner ads- Support this site and the ICMJ with paid ads as the absolute last of it's species. I have NEVER bought a subscription either as by buying from mining stores you are also helping to support a dead,dying,attacked,robbed,rapped industry in extremis.....John
 
I have no problem with "wanted to buy" here but for sale would have to be on a dedicated classifieds as I do not want to have to filter ads here.

I use every excuse I can find to drive the 25-30 miles to Auburn to give Frank my business (Pioneer Mining)...sadly, I don't think there's much public support for anti-socialist, freedom loving activities...at least here in Ca... :veryangry:
 
The new store is nuttn' but a shadow compared to the good ol'tried and true packed to the ceilings store BUT sumthin' sure beats nuttn'. Known Frank for over 30+ year at Pioneer and Keene in Sac store,darn good man screwed by life,x- wife and mining strife. John
 
I imagine with gold dropping as quickly as it is, a lot of people
WILL be selling all that stuff they bought on line. Sad.
