One older gentleman was telling me about a flash fire just north of my location in MI.The farmers over a large area and many farms and fields over years dumped hay and brush into one corner of their fields.These farms used stumps as fences.Anyway people said it created a fire storm over a large area with a thousand people being killed.This happened around 1850 I'm going to followup with more research.Thanks Ron.
