There is good news and bad news for us here in the mother lode of sac valley. Good news first......We have outstanding weather here and will continue to have it for at least another week. great weather for MDing with the temps going as high as 74. the higher in the hills you go the warmer it gets. :biggrin: Bad news...This is the month we depend on for our rain mostly.It is supossed to be the wetest month of the year. so with the dryer weather in the winter comes really dryer weather come summer. hope it dosnt put us in the drought range. the fog is supossed to ease up some to.
 
Well, 'tis good for MD'ing but hopefully you will get rain for the summer and not have any drought! It was nice and sunny, yesterday, but today is gray, cloudy, windy and cold! Think it spit the white stuff or had light rain with sleet! No sure as was hard to tell and I haven't been outside, but gotta check my mailbox for our mail soon! :) God Bless! Betty
 
We got about 18: of the cold white stuff in three days, and there is no end in site! zero degrees last night! :surprised::surrender:
 
about two inches of snow/ice on the ground, 30 degrees, temps toward the end of this coming week around 10 degrees on the high end. need some global warming here.
 
MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY...THE SNOW FALL WILL BE UP TO 8 INCHES IN SOME LOCATIONS WITH STRONG WINDS...PRODUCING BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS BETWEEN 10 BELOW AND 15 BELOW ZERO AND SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
 
BRRRR!!! That artic cold front is supposed to move down into MO by Wed or Thurs of this week and Cliff and I don't look forward to it, cold really gets to us, so we will most likely stay in doors and not get out at all! :thumbdown: :rolleyes: God Bless! Betty
 
a couple heaters stop working so had to climb up on the roof and get them working...before this cold spell hits. Had to call in another guy to get the things working but did get a few things done and got some extra hours in.
 
Bad news , it's 0 degrees, snowing, and more coming , total snow fall is at 130+ inches Good news, only 4 more months till I can go detecting
 
the sky is clear and sunny, about 68 out no jacket required. Wensday I think I am going to hit along the river before it starts getting cold again.
 
We have an arctic blast on the way! It will be -4 and the wind chills will be way colder!!!!!!!
