Weathering out

steve in so la

Something to keep in the back of your mind - I have 2 different places that are mounds of dirt from school mall sites. I have detected them several times over the last few years and do get some coins. Today I was at one - didn't have my detector with me - but walked over it and saw this 1964 nickel. Things have a way of weathering out over time. The nickel is no great shakes but it could have been a gold thing or silver coin,Good luck, steve in so az

After plowing is done in big parking lots, the giant piles of the white stuff eventually begin to melt. many coins, bills, and jewelry can be found in them.
When ladies take off their gloves rings come off with them sometimes!
