Weekend finds!!

With the smell of fall and Relics in the air, we decided to take a trip to the low country, so we loaded up the truck and headed that way. Found a couple of spots, that well... Didn't have crap! So we moved on,and on and on again. Finally, found a guy that was nice enough to let us hunt his back yard. He said it had been hunted before but to have at it. So, thats exactly what we did. After about 20 min of thinking this is another crappy place, I hit a good signal, it was a beautiful 95% gold gilt eagle I button... Then Joey popped out a New York cuff. We were on a roll. Next good thing I popped out was a 1863 War token, made of bronze. Looks like it was dropped yesterday.. Joey went on to find a eagle button, some bullets, musket balls etc.. All in all we had a great time, wasn't too hot and we found goodies! Doesn't get much better than that! *Kandi*

Great hunting. Glad you got the Army/Navy in such good shape. I found one that is severely corroded. I found mine in NY state, might I ask what state you are in? When i looked several years ago the army navy in good shape was about 70 bucks. That great luck for someones random "back yard" Good hunting, CO
