Well THAT'S good news (lol). Do you hip mount to avoid the water, or have you done something to water prrof them? I'm also concerned about the salt and the sand getting inside.

I use my EX11 as is at the beach. I don't really get in the water much, just wet sand and some deep puddles. I have never had any sand problems using it that way. Hope this helps.
