1888 Large Cent, 1908 Large Cent, 1918 Large Cent
1 large coin worn smooth/blank
1885 dime
1893 fishscale
1920, 1930, 1936 pennies
1935 Mercury Dime
3 musketballs.....1 chewed
1 miniball
Military button "Canada Militia"...backmark says "Smith, Wright, Birmingham"
Can anyone ID the button for me?? It's on the 3rd page of pictures. Thanks

Can't wait to get my first hunt of the year this Friday when I come home on leave. My flight leaves tonight and it'll take a few days to get to Michigan. Hope the weather's nice but at this point I'll happily hunt in a thunderstorm.

I'm sure you must be chomping at the bit to get out there for your first hunt this year! I hope your flight goes/went well. The weather is nice here.....right across the border from Port Huron Michigan (Sarnia), so it should be nice where you're going. Good luck, and hope to see you post some finds soon. Good to see you're getting some leave. It's great to get away from it all and wind down a little, but hard to go back again.

I'm off to a pretty good start this year for sure. I've only been detecting since August of 2004 though, so I think last year was more of a starter. Not to mention I'm now armed with an Explorer XS <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
