Well I ended up hitting two spots this weekend. The 1st was an old spot and that was all I had planned to hunt, but I got a call that some buddies of mine were heading down to a new piece of property that I had been helping research. The research looked real promising so I had to sweet talk the wife into letting me go. 1st pics are from the old site. The Gun tool was a nice surprise I think it is a model 1861 but this one appears to have two implements. Also dug an eagle cuff, button back, rivet, lead seal and a few bullets. Item on the lower left has me stumped, its brass. There are close ups of the front and back below.

Now for the seconded site. It was heavily wooded and the hunting was tuff but there is nothing like the feeling of that 1st relic at a new site. I dig not dig a whole lot but the finds were sweet. The 1st good signal of the day was an Albert
