Well Sunday 4:00 am we had winds up to 90 to 100 mph, hail the size of golf balls, tornadoes, and 2 to 4 inches of rain. Sounded like a freight train was running though my house. Hail hitting it with the wind blowing like it was, I just knew for sure a tornado was next. It passed the north side of town, toward Rockport. It did a number on my Honda Accord. Looks like someone took a ball ping hammer too it. Drivers side, roof, hood, and trunk lid all got it bad. Even the chrome that runs around the windows is dented up. My house roof has some damage on it, roofer coming over this week to check it out. All the Live Oak Trees which start loosing there leaves in starting March and goes though all spring got a good head start this year. Pretty much stripped them down. Good thing I hate the way they slowly lose the leaves for 3 months, this will save a bunch of cleaning this spring. Now tonight got a Attic Front coming in I hear. They say if you Don't like the weather today just hang around it will change soon, hear that all the time, and it is running true this year.
Going to run up to the ranch this coming weekend to see what it did to the trailers and deer blinds. Did at least to take Kieth-Tx and his youngest daughter up this weekend and let her get a 8 point buck. We were cleaning her deer when we heard bad weather was coming. We finished her deer up and headed home. Sure was nice to see a young person get to go hunting. Love to see kids out learning to hunt and enjoy the outdoors. Hope to see her get another one next year. A really great young lady she is. Good shot too. Well that is a how a weekend in South Texas goes. Here is a couple picture of Kieth and Britt, and then Bayrat with Britt. PS please don't say anything about Kieth's little hat.
