Weekend woods hunt.:fisher:

Dog setting for some friends this weekend and since the hound was sleeping in this morning, I decided to give the woods a early morning shot. Once again, no silver coins, but did manage a nice 925 silver ring with what appears to be a jade stone. Also, got a S & H Green Stamps thimble. My mother used to save those stamps back in the 50's and redeem them for things. Got kind of a neat button, too. Don't know about its age, but it has Highland 16 Scottish around the edge and (something) oath in the center. Also a 44d wheat cent. Little chilly, 33 when I started out. Sunset (dog) met me at the door with her leash in her mouth, so I got another 30 minutes of fresh Tennessee air when I hot home. Now, if U T can continue to kick K Y's butt on the court, it will have been a good day. F 75 LTD. HH jim tn

Nice pics! Thats a beauty of a ring even still in the dirt! Theres cold descending on you brother, supposed to be freeze warnings clear down into FL tonight. Sounds like you had a good day of excersize and deserve a little TV time. We are still hanging in there, been snowing all day, watching all the treasure hunting Youtube posts imaginable, and reading the forums. Birds are really feeding up, and I heard Canadian geese yesterday, good sign there. Thanks for the wonderful posts and doing your part to get us Yankees through!

Nice finds! Stone in the ring could be turquoise, whole thing looks southwest design.
