Hit a few different locations this past weekend. I went along with Tim and Dan on Saturday and I was the only one not to find a Silver Half Dollar this time. Only could scrounge up a Kennedy Clad Half Dollar. Tim did very well and had the Oldest Coins for a change. Both Tim and Dan found a Walker on Saturday. Dan's came from a New Ball Diamond (we later found out from one of the Locals that the Ball Diamond was a newer addition and that this spot was only a Pasture before). He was lucky in getting out of the Car and just a few steps into the hunt, he snagged his Walker, the only Old Coin found. Wonder how that Walker ended up at that site??? Tim's finds just kept coming for him and he will do well on Friday for the Find Of The Month Competition with his finds for this month. Can't wait to see his 1909-s Indian Head that he found a few weeks ago. Good Job Tim and Dan with your finds. Now onto what I found this weekend. I would have liked to have found a Silver Half Dollar this weekend but one has to take what they get. Maybe next outing! I found another 12 Silver this time. They consisted of 1 Washington Quarter dated 1963-d, 5 Mercury Dimes dated 1917-s,1935,1941,1943, and 1943-d, 5 Roosevelt Dimes dated 1948-d,1951-s,1958-d,1961-d, and 1963-d, and also 1 Canadian Dime dated 1962. The Clad Kennedy Half Dollar I found is dated 1972. For Nickels, I found 2 which consisted of 1 Buffalo Nickel dated 1917 and 1 Jefferson Nickel dated 1940-d. The rest of the finds will be posted shortly in Weekends Finds. Part 2. Hope you enjoy the Pics and Thanks for looking. Here is the rest of the finds. I found 1 Indian Head Penny dated 1905. I also found 2 Canadian Pennies, both dated 1955. For Wheat Pennies, I dug another 35. They are dated 09,17,18,23,24,25,27-s,28,29,30,31,35,36,(2)37,(2)41-d,42,44-d,44-s,(2)45-d,(2)46-d,47-s,(2)48-d,49-d,51-d,55-d,56-d, and (4)58-d. And lastly, the Misc. Finds. I found some kind of Buckle Item, and above the Buckle is a Sterling Silver Kids Toe Ring, a Pin, an Aluminum 4-Leaf Clover, a Religious Ring, an Old Copper Ring with a Marble sitting inside it so it wouldn't roll off the Scanner, and part of a Cuff-Link with the letter W. Hope you had some good finds this last weekend and Good Luck and HH to you all during the week if you make it out. Enjoy and Thanks again for looking.[attachment 68513 DirtyIndianCanadianCents.jpg][attachment 68514 CleanedIndianCanadianCents.jpg][attachment 68512 DirtyWheats.jpg][attachment 68516 CleanedWheats.jpg][attachment 68517 DirtyMisc..jpg][attachment 68518 CleanedMisc..jpg]

Your not doing so bad yourself. You have been finding some nice stuff. This was a 2 day hunt. I know I could have had more Silver but didn't leave the spot I was at on Sunday. Decided to just continue pounding the ground instead of driving to another site. Can't complain about what I found either. Good Luck and HH.

I am looking forward to the forum hunt in St.Louis in 2 weeks. I hope I can pop out some old silver but I am more looking forward to meeting many of the guys who post on here a lot.

Would have loved to meet everyone in person and also to show everyone a little magic at that Hunt Site. Hope you find some good stuff and make some new friends and also have a fun time doing it. I look forward to some posts about that Hunt and hope to see some excellent finds that were found during it. Good Luck and HH.

That is for Silver. 10 is what I like to find at least during a weekends hunt. More if possible. Good Luck and HH on your next outing.

James once again you make it look easy.We know that it not ,If you didnt like what you do and got paid for what you do you would be in the poor house for all the time and miles that you drive to make your hobby a sucess,I salute you for a great job.

Yep! I sure would be in the Poor House if I didn't have a Job. I spend more money on Gas than what my finds are worth most of the time but it's only money and if I didn't enjoy doing what I do on every outing, I sure would be loosing my A$$ in the Pocket Book Category. I enjoy chasing down History and finding things that someone had dropped say 100 Years Ago, and most of the time when the site is original, Exactly where these People dropped these Items. It's an exciting feeling just to pull something Old out of the ground and to hold it knowing you are the only other person to see it and hold it since it was dropped. WOW! What a Rush! The Sites are out there fellas that yield Silver or what ever your cup of tea is. YOU JUST HAVE TO CHASE AFTER THEM!!! Thanks again Good Buddy, and Good Luck and HH to you all.
