originally created and run for many years by Royal who did a wonderful job of bringing together folks from across our countries and even around the world to share their lives and experiences. Often having created and still building lifetime friendships, this place we believe is special!

For those of you have kindly visited us or wish to participate, we have some simple guidelines.

Please feel free to give your comments about the experiences and stories posted. Our members often spend much time and effort to write for your enjoyment and very much appreciate some recognition of their efforts and you will receive the same for your kindness.

Please do not hesitate to add your own work. I repeat what Royal has often said, this is not a spelling competition or a great literary site but a place of the simple pleasure of friends relating experiences and talking to each other, kinda like around a campfire or a big comfy living room.

Sorry but we do not put stories in the "stick to top" area unless the writer has participated and or given credit to previous stories. In fairness it must be done this way.

try and do better. I really don't know what happened to everyone else, but I have been battling a serious illness as some of you know, and simply did not have the energy I had before. I prayed for God to help me feel better and I feel it happening slowly but surely. I really can't think of a story right now, but maybe one will come up soon that won't be too boring. I certainly choose our little forum over Facebook! I don't care for it very much except to help me find long lost relatives or friends. The Forum is a lot of best friends who love each other and truly care for each other . I prefer it over anything else, if we can just keep it the way it was. What did happen?

Facebook can nicely live without me as i never have and never will use it. After watching all the goings on there plus my background in computer security along with the knowledge that there is no free lunch......

After a lifetime of seeing things come and go in cycles I was beginning to mourn this forum as another wonderful thing gone from our lives.

It seems there may still be some life in it and I for one would like to see it up and running again!

always my favorite. As all have said, great bunch of people on here and none of the nit picking associated with many other forums.
Just have to find the right bait to lure Royal back. He one heck of a lot of effort into this and their is a piece missing with out his presence.

Sunny just your smiling avatar showing up in the post brightens me day. Glad recovery is going your way even if at a slower pace than
you would like.

Morning Mikie... Yes, I hope it restarts. This was a great site for everyday life instead of trying to solve the worlds problems. Think I'll talk to Royal and see if he might take another shot at it...

Not much snow here Mikie, just to small storms, one 3 inch and one 6 inch, and its all gone now.....Plow does a great job I put together, but I'm really happy I'm not having to use it every day.

Hope all going well for you and Alice out there on the island.
