Went back to the site where I have been pulling lots of Wheats and Silver this weekend and had average results. Looks like the site has started to die off already but there is finds still here if one takes the time and searches for them. I only netted 6 Silver this time, which is a long way off from 31 the weekend before but all things come to an end sometime. They included 1 Washington Quarter dated 1942-d, 4 Mercury Dimes dated 1924,1936,1941-d, and 1942, along with 1 Roosevelt Dime dated 1951-d. I also found a Token that reads For Amusement Only / Token Has No Cash Or Trade Value which is the size of a Dime. 5 Nickels were found this outing with 3 being Buffalo Nickels dated 1916,1916-d, and 1919 along with 2 Silver Jefferson War Nickels dated 1943-P. 4 Indian Heads were also found dated 1899,1901,1903, and 1907. In the Wheat Pennies Category, I retrieved 40 more dated 11,13,(2)16,16-d,(2)17,17-d,(2)18,(3)19,19-s,(4)20,23,26-d,29-d,35,35-d,39,39-d,39-s,(3)40-d,41,(2)41-d,(4)44-d,46-d,47-d,51-d, and 58-d. Misc. finds included a Fishing Lure with G.M. Skinner Clayton NY Pat. U.S.A. & Canada 1874 printed on it, a Key with #55 on it, a 4-H Pin that says County Honor Canning By Kerr Glass Mfg. Corp. In Co-op Ext. Ser. 1/20 10KGF on the back, a Silver Snake Ring, a Ring with 3 Hearts, a Ring with Foreign Letters, and 2 Rings that were stuck inside one another, the larger one having the Letter T and the smaller the Letter B. That was my finds this weekend. Good Luck and HH to you all if you get out during the week and thanks for looking. [attachment 64949 Silver.jpg][attachment 64950 NickelsandToken.jpg][attachment 64951 Indians.jpg][attachment 64952 Wheats.jpg][attachment 64955 LureClose-up.jpg][attachment 64954 Misc..jpg]

While Tim was with you and Jon he acquired 36 Wheaties 3 Tokens, 4 IH pennies, 6 Merc dimes and 2 silver rosies. He has a idea for this weekend to go to another spot in that area and maybe my wife and I will go too.
Like usual you guys do good when I am not with, maybe next time I get a chance it will be better.

I wonder if he is going to team up with me again this next weekend? I think there is still a lot of potential at some other sites that need to be checked into. It sure would be great to be able to get you and your wife some Silver if we did meet up once again. I will have to wait and see if Tim calls this week to know what kind of plans are being made. Until then, Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

This still was a great outing with some great keepers but it sure is hard to see sites come to the end so fast when you know just how many great finds were made in them. I think it may be time to check into some other sites and hope for another HOT SPOT like this was. Thanks for the post Mick and Good Luck and HH to you on your hunts.

Then we will see if I can't find another site to rake in more Silver. This was proof that they are still out there if one takes the time and tracks them down. Good Luck and HH on your next outing as well.:detecting:

There were a few that were only 1" Deep and some were only 3"-6" Deep also. But a lot of them were in the 7"-8" Range. Thanks for asking.;)

I have been going back to old haunts that I have pounded in the past and using my new SE have noticed it was like I never hunted it before.
I will try to get some pictures in so you can see what I mean about just how many coins and other items were just left for others to find.By the way all of the pennies are wheat cents from oldest 1910 on up. Also not pictured is a hard silver bracelet that is being cleaned at the jewelers.I do not know how I missed that so many times before. Oh ya I wasn't using the SE!:clapping::minelab: RULES

All your OLD HOT SPOTS will become your NEW HOT SPOTS with a Minelab. If you are Serious about making some great finds, Minelab is the way to go. But the other Companies have good machines as well, it just depends what your cup of tea is. Many Great Brands and Detectors on the Market, it just takes time to learn them to be more Successful with each machine. Nice finds and if you think you are doing well now, just wait till you get to know your machine more and more, then you will be jumping for joy when you start raking in a lot of Old Coins and other finds. Continued Success in your area, Good Luck and HH.
