Well brothers and sisters I goofed again which isn't unusal for Ma....

Cliff would have been with me 4 years, Oct 7, as he came up in 2005 and we were together for Christmas 3 times and this year would have been the 4th Christmas. I said 3 years but my memory just won't co-operate with me and I can't seem to remember where my memory went to in the past few years!

So sorry for my goofing things up of which I do pretty good! I am feeling better and rested more, but do have the long trip down and back with my sister-in-law, Wanda, and we will pick up my sister, Carolyn, and attend the funeral Monday and then after the burial we will be heading back home to St. Louis! My sister is planning to stay with me for awhile to help me with some things! Hope all are doing okay and hunting and finding those goodies!

Oh, when I said that I say and do the wrong things....I didn't mean I swear, curse act or talk vulgar...I just seem to put my foot in my mouth and say something wrong at the wrong time! Ma needs to put her brain in gear before opening her mouth many times! God Bless! Betty

yesterday I got a signed blank check from the hotel to go get some chemicals for our swimming pool at the hotel. Got to the spa/pool place and they ran out of the stuff so went back to the hotel. Walked in the door and was going to tell the desk clerk we won't get the chemicals til Monday. The clerk handed me a note to move refrigerators from rooms that had to be done like right now. Didn't have time to tell her anything. Went to the various rooms, moved the fridges out and figured I could finally give her the blank check.
When I got back to the desk that clerk had gone. The owner's wife was working the desk. I reached for the blank check and I could not find it in my pockets.

I went back to all the rooms I had been in. Checked the hallways, checked the room I put the fridges in. Checked my vehicle and even drove back to the spa/pool place and still could not find the check. I called Sherry and told her. She said she would pray ot turns up in an obvious place. Got back to the hotel and asked the Boss Lady if she could check to see it the blank check was in the drawer with the stubs for that check. She went to check and I had other things to do for guests and didn't get back to the desk for about an hour. Finally I asked if she found the check and she said yes. I must have given the other clerk the check and didn't remember it.
